Knotty Jini is Jinia Saha, working out of a corner of a house in Barasat, Kolkata — and shipping little handmade things across India.

It started the way these things usually do: one sunflower charm, made for a backpack, that three people asked about in a week. The charm is still in the shop. It's still the piece people photograph most.

Everything is made after you order it, which is slower and also the entire point — you get to change the colour, the length, the thread. Nothing sits in a box waiting for a buyer, and nothing gets thrown away at the end of a season.

Custom orders start in the DMs and usually end with three voice notes and a very happy person. That's the actual business.

If it needs seven days you'll be told seven days — not two, followed by an apology.

Fixed, not replaced

If a stitch gives way in the first months, send it back. It gets repaired and returned.

Add what you like to the basket, then send the order across on Instagram DM or WhatsApp from the basket page — it writes the message for you. Jini confirms colours and the final price, and you pay by UPI.
Because size, colour count and customisation change the work. The number you see is what most people pay; anything different is agreed before a single stitch is made.
Small pieces: 2–3 days. Bandanas and ear warmers: 5–7. Mufflers and bloom cascades: up to 10. Shipping across India adds 3–6 days on top.
Yes, and it's free. Send a photo of the outfit, a paint chip, a screenshot — anything with the colour in it. If the exact yarn isn't available you'll get two closest options to choose from.
Yes — sets of 20 to 100 for weddings, classrooms and offices. Give three weeks' notice. Message the shop and you'll get a quote within a day.
Cold water, by hand, no wringing — squeeze and dry flat. Never hang a wet crochet piece; it stretches and doesn't come back. Care details are on every product page.
